“Every regular person is a mix of emotions. “The actor was sailing through in a different genre, with lighthearted comedy, and was craving to work in a high-voltage drama, which is Tiger Galli,” says the director, who has tried to capture a common man’s life in the movie. The director says that Satish Ninasam came into the picture looking for a highly charged role.
“The hero comes from Tiger Galli, but the plot is set around an incident and the story has been written to reflect local culture,” he says.
And the story is based on a real-life incident that happened in Chennai in 2010. Ravi has titled the film Tiger Galli after a cul-de-sac in Thigalarapete.
